The very first post . . .

Here begins my blogging adventure.

My name is Doug, and I’m a collector. I was raised in a family of collectors, and our interests varied as we created some amazing collections in sports and pop-culture. As we’ve moved on to other endeavors, I thought this would be a good place to share my knowledge/perspective on collecting. I hope to delve into the “why,” the “how,” and the “what,” along with anything else that comes to mind.
